Warrant Amnesty Program

If you have a warrant in Greene County/Paragould District Court for Nonpayment of Fines, prior to April 1st, 2013 you may be able to get the warrant dismissed or the extra fines dropped.

If you have outstanding warrants for Revocation of Probation, Failure to Appear or Contempt of Court prior to April 1st, 2013 you may be able to have the warrant dismissed.  However, you must do the following:

  • Turn yourself in Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Paragould Police Department, Greene County Sheriff’s Department or the agency who originally charged you.

  • Pay the underlying charge/tickets in full plus a $50 warrant service fee at the time you surrender yourself.

For most people, that is all that will be required.  Some charges will require a court appearance due to possible restitution, victim’s rights, or the underlying charges carry jail time or other requirements. You will not be arrested at the time you turn yourself in.  You will be set a court appearance date if it is necessary for you to appear. Nonpayment’s will not require a court appearance as long as you can pay in full or up to $1200.  If your driver’s license is suspended due to a Failure to Appear you may go to Driver Control for reinstatement. The court will ask the reinstatement fees to be waived.

You can avoid possible public service time and save money by avoiding additional fines and cost, reinstatement fees and bonding fees.

Amnesty will last only for a few weeks and will end without warning!!!!!!!!!!!
