Organizing Community Cleanup for week of April 17 – 22, 2023

Volunteers needed to help keep Paragould beautiful

Volunteers are needed to participate in Paragould Economic Development Corporation annual spring community improvement week of April 17-22, 2023.

Everyone in Paragould is encouraged to participate in this year’s community improvement effort.  Civic and service organizations, church and youth groups, school groups and clubs, scouts, individuals, families, neighborhoods, and businesses can organize cleanup teams and pitch in.

The major cleanup effort will be scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2023, organizations can also schedule cleanup projects anytime during the week.  

The Paragould Economic Development Corporation is hosting the Annual “Clean Sweep Paragould” on April 17-22. Your business can participate in this event in several ways. Here are some daily ideas for your home or business:

    April 17: Assess your storefront.

    April 18: Pick up trash around your business.

    April 19: Sweep your business’ sidewalks/parking lot/ alley.

    April 20: Trim or mow around your building.

    April 21: Decorate your storefront and/or plant flowers.

    April 22: Volunteer in the city-wide cleanup day.
