Paragould Overlay Districts

The Northend District in Paragould is a charming legacy neighborhood characterized by its Craftsman-style homes, historic street lighting, and sidewalks and new district branding efforts. Northend District Boundaries: To begin on W. Hunt Street at the southernmost point of the alleyway between N. 5th Street and N. 4th Street. It shall extend north, following the alleyway to Northend Avenue, where it will continue east-southeast along Northend Avenue until Northend Avenue meets the railway spur line, directly east of Bradburn St. The boundary will then run south, following the railway until it meets E. Hunt Street, where it will run west to its point of completion.

Northend

The Labor District, surrounding Paragould's Labor Park, is a lively neighborhood offering excellent recreational amenities. Labor Park features a community room, gym, skate park, playground, and splashpad, making it a hub of activity for residents. The neighborhood is welcoming and vibrant, with tree-lined streets in close proximity to Downtown. Labor District Boundaries: To begin on E. Court Street at the rail mainline and continue east until the Eightmile Creek intersection. It will then extend south, following Eightmile Creek until it meets E. Garland St. The district should include all parcels located on Garland St to a distance of one hundred (100) feet of each side of the right-of-way. The boundary shall continue west along E. Garland St. until it meets the rail mainline, where it will run north/northeast along the railway to its point of completion.

Labor Overlay District

Midtown District Boundaries: To begin on W. Court Street at the intersection of W. Court and S. 14th Street and shall continue east until S. 3rd Street. It shall then proceed south, following S. 3rd Street until it meets W. Garland Street. The boundary will then continue west until the intersection of W. Garland Street and S. 14th Street and proceed north along S. 14th Street to its point of completion.
