What better way to spend Earth Day than making the city we call home cleaner and more beautiful? During the week of April 17-22, there are some daily tasks that we encourage the community to do:
April 17: Assess your storefront or house/yard.
April 18: Pick up trash around your business or house.
April 19: Sweep your business’/house’s sidewalks/parking lot/alley.
April 20: Trim or mow around your building or house.
April 21: Decorate your storefront or house and/or plant flowers.
April 22: Volunteer in the city-wide cleanup day.
Join several hundred volunteers on Saturday, April 22, for a city wide cleanup. Individuals or groups of volunteers will meet at the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce office at 9AM to get assignments. Lunch will be provided at noon to those who register by April 13 to ahestand@paragould.org.
